The Governors are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, highly motivated teacher to join an outstanding English department in our thriving Catholic school community in the heart of the beautiful Ribble Valley.

St Augustine’s is a mixed, 11-16, oversubscribed comprehensive school with 1050 pupils on roll. We have a strong academic profile and in 2013 we were judged by OFSTED to be “outstanding” in all areas of school life. Our Section 48 report from 2014 describes us as an “outstanding Catholic school.”

Cover Supervisor

Grade 6: Point 21-26

Salary: £20,138 – 23,398 pro rata

Actual Salary: £12,931 - £15,025

27.5 Hours per week

Term time only + 5 days

Required for January 2019

Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated Cover Supervisor to join our thriving Catholic school community. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone considering teaching as a career or for an experienced Teaching Assistant wishing to take on additional responsibilities.

Our Cover Supervisors work as part of a team and have various responsibilities which include mentoring and support for individual or small groups of pupils, providing short term cover for absent colleagues, supervision of our seclusion room as well as carrying out administrative tasks for departments or for whole school events.
