Milly's Smiles
In memory of Milly Walmsley, one of our own. Milly lost her fight against Leukaemia on 20th September, 2015. Her charity aims to provide a welcome pack to each newly diagnosed family admitted onto Ward 84, at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, with items that will help during the first few days and weeks of their hospital stay. Along with this we will endeavour to offer items that will bring a smile to the faces of the children and let families know that people are thinking about them.
YEAR 9
YEAR 10
Year 10 want to embrace the schools mission statement, in making a difference in our local community and wider community
Ribble Valley Food Bank - giving back to our local area, to those less fortunate. All pupils should be able to contribute in some small way, allowing Year 10 as a year group to make a wider contribution to our local community.
North West Air Ambulance - each year the north west air ambulance has to raise over £9.5 million to function fully and help save lives. They receive no government or NHS funding – it is thanks to fundraising donations that they can attend over 2,500 incidents every year, making a difference to the lives of many throughout our region.
